I’d like to invite you to Life Palette: art exhibit in the Foyer Gallery in the Wilcox Library on the William Penn University Campus in Oskaloosa, IA. The exhibit has been coordinated by the Fine Arts and Cultural Events Organization of Mahaska County (FACE). The public is invited to join me at the opening reception hosted by FACE on Friday, Feb. 7 from 5:30-7:30 pm. The mission of FACE is to foster the arts as a catalyst to strengthen the community. The show will be ongoing through the end of February.

I’ve entitled the show “Life Palette” because I believe life is an experiment in color…a huge vibrant palette-a place where the colors mingle and mix and run and do the unexpected. I believe that when there are no easy answers and no clear path…when we are in the thick of living the mystery…when there is pain, hurt, confusion, doubt, or joy…that is the time to create…with passion.

The Wilcox Library is located at 201 Trueblood in Oskaloosa, IA and the show will be available for viewing during regular library hours.
